The ParaGard T 380A IUD is an

The ParaGard T 380A IUD is an intrauterine device (IUD) for birth control that does not contain synthetic sex hormones. The ParaGard IUD is made of plastic and copper. Because there are no birth control drugs in the IUD, after removing it over three-quarters of women are able to become pregnant right away.

When you stop using the IUD, if you do not want to get pregnant, you must start another method right away. If you had unprotected sex, it is possible that you could be pregnant. You should get a pregnancy test to find out.

Best of luck,
