It's not completely clear to me if you want to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy. Mirena is an intrauterine device that contains birth control hormones. It is inserted into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. Most women can get pregnant right away after the removal of the Mirena IUD. However, if you had fertility problems before you started the IUD, or if you are +40, then you might not get pregnant right away.
If you are trying to prevent pregnancy, then use another method of birth control after you have Mirena removed.
