can you be using a contraceptive pill and get pregnant?

Hi, If the contraceptive pill

Hi,

If the contraceptive pill was not taking properly - at the same time everyday, missed pill(s) yes pregnancy is possible. The combination birth control pill is 99% effective and the minipill (progestin only) is about 80% effective when taken correctly.

If you think you may be pregnant you should see your doctor as soon as possible. You should not continue to take oral contraceptives if you are pregnant.

Best of Luck,
TammyM
