The best is a tough question, because different factors are important to different people. Do you mean safest, most effective, or easiest to use?
The most effective reversible method would be an IUD, with Mirena being more effective than ParaGard. However, there is a trade-off between safety and efficacy. The more effective methods tend to have more side-effects and health risks. The less effective ones (like condoms or spermicide), tend to be safer.
The easiest method would be Depo-Provera (shot) or an IUD. However, with Depo-Provera you may have side effects and irregular periods. And the IUD requires a doctor to insert and remove.
Natural family planning is less effective but is the safest method. It uses no hormones or devices, and newer methods are easy to use. The down side is that you can't have sex on certain days.
